Comparative imaging of the LM using CE-MATRIX-T1FLAIR (a-c) and 3D CE-T2FLAIR (d-f). The CNR of 3D CE-T2FLAIR image is slightly better than that of CE-MATRIX-T1FLAIR, but the extent of the lesion cannot be accurately displayed due to the image of brain parenchyma edema around the lesion (indicated by the thick arrows), and the lesion extent of pilonidal metastasis is slightly larger in the same level of lesion (indicated by the thick arrows), and the lesion had a better contrast with the brain parenchyma. In addition CE-MATRIX-T1FLAIR has a higher detection rate of small lesions (indicated by thin arrows), which are more likely to be missed by 3D CE-T2FLAIR (indicated by thin arrows)
